Composition

Each ml contains: Moxifloxacin 5.45 mg equivalent to 5 mg (0.5%) moxifloxacin base. Preservative: None. Product itself-preserved. Moxifloxacin is a broad-spectrum 4th generation quinolone antibiotic that is active against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.

• Indications and Usage

Indicated for the treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis caused by susceptible strains of the following organisms:

Gram-positive bacteria: e.g. Staphylococcus aureus; Staphylococcus epidermidis;  Staphylococcus hemolytic;

Gram-negative bacteria: e.g. Haemophilus influenzae; Klebsiella pneumoniae, Moraxella catarrhalis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa.

Other microorganisms: Chlamydia trachomatis.
